We came for our honeymoon. Every morning breakfast arrived on the terrace at eight on the dot (black rice pudding, papaya, the best eggs I've ever eaten) while surfers paddled out in front of us. On our last night Putu set up a surprise dinner on the beach. I cried a little.
Travelling with a 4 and a 7-year-old, the fenced pool meant we actually got to relax. The staff knew both kids by name on day two, and the kitchen made them banana pancakes that aren't even on the menu. The sand really is thirty steps from the villa door. We counted.
Booked three nights, stayed six. Komang was waiting at arrivals with my name on a sign, and the villa smelled of frangipani when I walked in. The view from the yoga deck at sunrise is worth the flight on its own. Quiet, unfussy and genuinely kind people.

Very. Cots and high chairs are free, the Family Pool Villa has a fenced pool, and we can arrange a trusted babysitter with a day's notice (from $8 an hour). Children under 6 eat breakfast free.
Yes. Our kitchen cooks vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, halal and nut-free every day. Tell us when you book and the chef will plan your breakfasts before you arrive.
